Eurovision 2026: Organizers promise an unprecedented final

This year's Eurovision national final promises to be a unique event. For the first time, it will be held on the stage of Chisinau Arena instead of in a film studio. The event will be open to the public, with tickets available for up to 3,000 spectators. On December 22, the finalists met with the competition directors to discuss details about the artistic concept and stage production. The organizers are committed to delivering an exceptional show.

"We are preparing for a unique final with a new location that will allow us to simulate the international finals we see on television. All participants have great potential to make this a worthy event," said director Roman Burlaca.

The artists who qualified for the National Final promise to deliver surprises, whether through grand performances or emotional songs.

"My expectations are to create an exemplary final that will, first, stimulate the music industry in the Republic of Moldova, and second, enhance the image of the Eurovision Song Contest on the national stage," mentioned performer Vlad Sabajuc.

"The concept we are working on has been a long-held vision of mine. I have hired a complete team for this, and I hope the final product will be beautiful," said performer Cătălina Solomac.

"I'm preparing a really exciting show for everyone, but the details will remain a surprise until the end. Yes, the preparations have already begun," said performer Adelina Iordachi.

"All I want is to create the best performance possible and to have an experience that pushes me out of my comfort zone," said performer Diana Sturza.

"The preparations are intense—very intense—because we are expecting a serious final," mentioned performer Edgar Bacioi.

"I have a team supporting me, including dancers and vocalists on stage; we are preparing a complete show," said performer Ecaterina Tostogan.

"We have high expectations for this final. It's different from previous years, and we are aiming for the best," said performer Ilinca Siviroveanu.

"Preparation has already begun, and we are currently working on the idea, which I believe is the most crucial element of the show that this song represents," said performer Cristina Rujițcaia.

"The idea is quite ambitious. I enjoy grand songs and large-scale shows, and that is the plan," stated performer Alexandru Bublițchi.

"I think we have a real chance to make it to the international Eurovision," mentioned vocalist and producer Ion Staver.

"I don't have extraordinary expectations. I just want to enjoy myself and ensure that everything is cool and interesting," said performer Artiom Topal.

"We have prepared a somewhat complicated show that stresses me out. Preparations have already begun, and I believe it will be beautiful," stated performer Inga Luca.

"The preparations are going relatively well, but it is a bit stressful as I don't have much experience in this field. However, I truly enjoy it," said performer Valleria Condrea.

The Republic of Moldova will participate in the international competition for the 20th time. The country's best result at Eurovision was in 2017, when the band SunStroke Project secured third place with the song "Hey Mamma."
