Seven girls, including three minors, forced to provide sexual services in rented apartments in Chisinau

Seven girls from socially vulnerable families, including three minors, were sexually exploited by six men. The victims, aged between 15 and 20, were lured with promises of substantial monetary gain but were deceived and forced to provide sexual services in several rented apartments in Chisinau.
The accused are men aged between 20 and 30 who are part of a criminal network involved in sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
They preyed on the victims' social and financial difficulties, promising them large sums of money to gain their trust. From October 2025 to February 2026, these men rented apartments in Chisinau where illegal sexual services were provided for payment.
Members of the criminal group found clients via the internet, communicating with them by phone using prepaid cards to avoid detection by the authorities.
Clients who requested illegal services were transported by the organizers to the rented apartments, where the victims were forced into prostitution.
The victims were subjected to psychological coercion. The perpetrators threatened to inform their relatives and close friends about the intimate services provided by the young women, creating a sense of entrapment.
During searches at the accused’s homes in Chisinau, law enforcement officers identified and seized several bank cards, prepaid phone cards, identity documents belonging to some victims, and money in various currencies that was believed to be obtained from the sexual exploitation of victims.
The members of the criminal group were detained and placed in preventive custody for 30 days; two of them have been incarcerated since November of the previous year.
The victims were identified and rescued by law enforcement, and efforts to help them return to normal life included offering social assistance and psychological support. Two of the victims were accommodated in placement centers.
