Muncești Road traffic restored following sealing works

Road traffic on Muncești Road in Chișinău resumed on Thursday, March 5, on the section between Grădina Botanică and Băcioii Noi streets. This reopening followed three days of traffic restrictions due to road repairs after this winter's weather damaged the road.

According to the Chisinau City Hall, ten teams of workers, comprising several dozen employees, are simultaneously addressing issues on this road section by filling potholes that appeared after the snow melted.

The municipal authorities have stated that these interventions are temporary, conducted under current weather conditions, until the street's complete rehabilitation, which is planned for this year.

Earlier, the City Hall announced that traffic would be fully suspended on this road section from Monday to Friday to facilitate the ongoing work.
