The Republic of Moldova will install 18 automatic air quality monitoring stations
The Republic of Moldova will establish a national air quality monitoring network comprising 18 automatic stations and one mobile station. Of these, 11 stations will be acquired with the assistance of a European grant, while the remaining stations will be funded by other donor institutions and development partners. These new stations will enable authorities to continuously monitor pollution levels and implement measures to improve air quality, according to the Minister of Environment, Sergiu Lazarencu.
